Located less than 3 miles West of San Antonio International Airport. Shuttle service is provided to and from the airport every 20 minutes 24/7. Hilton San Antonio customers park in the hotel garage and use the hotel shuttle. The garage parking is first come first served, and you may have to park on the uncovered roof if the rest of the garage is full. Hotel guests take priority for shuttles, make sure you arrive two hours before your flight time. You MUST make reservations online. Address and driving directions are provided on your confirmation.

Getting to the airport was no problem as usual. The shuttle leaves the hotel on schedule at the hour then every 20 minutes. However, I waited 30 minutes to be picked up in colder than San Antonio average December weather. When I called for pickup I was told 20 minutes which turned into 30 minutes.

Inefficient.Illogical.Not handicap friendly.Demanding paperwork instead of just an ID when money transacted reserving a "spot" is illogical.Host should have a digital record of transaction,so when client shows up to claim their spot w/appropriate ID,that's enough.Shuttle leaves every 20 minutes,which inefficient for the clients'need to catch flights at various times.Had to wait 45 minutes in line in noisy lobb when told by Global rep I must "check out" at front desk, but didn't have to.

Overall the experience was good. The morning shuttle does not start running until 4am which was inconvenient as we had a 5am flight. We had to take a cab to the airport. Was told that the cab was there but it was not which was a little frustrating. I would do this again if I had to. Thank you.

We absolutely love global parking. We used it when living in Middle GA and flying out of Atlanta airport. So glad we finally found the Hilton in San Antonio for our flights out of San Antonio. Highly recommend to all our friends.

The shuttle does not go to the parking garage and there is no hand cart to use to take your suitcases to and from the hotel lobby and parking garage. For my departure I only had 1 suitcase and my laptop, but on my return I had 2 suitcases and my laptop and so I had to leave the suitcases un-attended at the lobby while I went to get the car. A potential issue with personal property security. There was a valet parking desk, but it was un-attended.

The attendant sent me to the wrong parking lot and left my 1 yr old and myself when we were about 30-45 secs away from the shuttle door. Same thing happened on the return. After waiting 30 mins for another shuttle to pick me up I called the front desk to the Hilton. They said someone was 5 mins out. After waiting 10 minutes a Hilton bus did show but it was the wrong one. They gave me a ride anyway and were super nice. Not using Global @ Hilton!!! Never had issues like this at the Double Tree.
